echo for SharePoint?

Has anybody heard of echo for SharePoint from winapp technology? It looks like it might offer some features that our SharePoint app really could use. Please post in the comments your experiences.

Hi Cody, this is Sergio from Winapp technology the creators of echo.

I came across this post and hopefully this helps you out.

echo allows you to replicate design changes in bulk and load contents to your portal via the content loader addin.

You can replicate things like:
* Document library (and list) settings, fields/columns, views, alerts, permissions
* WSS Site settings, permissons, users, groups, cross site groups
* web parts including web part connections
* Front page customizations (including HTML changes, nav node links)

The echo content loader allows you to load documents to your document libraries by using a control file which you can construct in the IDE and also using XL. You specify the source, destination and metadata values for your document library columns.

echo v2 also allows you to replicte these changes to a remote server. Some customers use this for dev/staging/production change management processes and others for keeping a federated portal design up to date (ie head office to branches).
